XAN GILL SIGNS WITH BLACK DOT PRESS Biography X XAN GILL SIGNS WITH BLACK DOT PRESS
Biography
Xan Gill (b.1996) is a composer from the North East of England, now working in London.
His work prioritises organicism, making frequent use of unsynchronised lines and free time. Motion and stasis - background and foreground – are key concerns, assembled like layers of a landscape flashing by a train window. The music is often raw, muscular, gripped by a compelling darkness. It flickers, loops, glitches, injected with the itchy hi-hats and swollen depth of dub & electronica. In other areas, the sound-world is hushed and still; delicate, hovering music.

DAVID NUNN SIGNS WITH BLACK DOT PRESS David Nunn DAVID NUNN SIGNS WITH BLACK DOT PRESS
David Nunn is a composer based in London. His music is often immersive and minimal; it acts as escapism for the listener, and is characterised by textures which seem to revolve and rotate as if in a kaleidoscope.
